Urban explorer is a fashion forecast based on The Anti-fashion manifesto of Lidewij Edelkoort.

Outdoor fashion is one of the few categories in the fashion industry which strives for sustainability and
durability. Where the other Brands go for fast fashion, these outdoor brands are constructed on the idea to make garments last a lifetime. People in the city have been shifting their mindset. Instead of trying to keep track of the fast-moving trends,
they want their clothes to be more functional and lasting. Yet they have different needs than the people who practice outdoor sports. With this forecast, I want to Inspire brands and consumers to take a different look at outdoor clothing by adjusting it to the urban needs.
